QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Mapping Change cares about maximum transparency and clarity in its relationships with the organisations it works with.
Here you will find all your most frequently asked questions and the corresponding answers.
If you have any new ones Just write to us!
I’VE SEEN THAT EACH OF YOUR SERVICES ENVISAGES A SERIES OF GOALS. DO ALL OF THEM HAVE TO BE DEVELOPED?
The goals describe the complete pathway for each of our service areas.
Comprehensiveness is necessary in order to guarantee the highest quality outcome.
Each pathway is customised according to the specific needs of your organisation.
In some cases Mapping Change will develop all the goals, in others just some of them.
If Mapping Change is called upon to follow the entire pathway, it can guarantee the same level of quality and maximum integration of all the goals.
DO YOU ALWAYS WORK AS A TEAM OR DO YOU ALSO WORK ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS?
Many of the services are handled by just one person, the one who is the most qualified in relation to your needs.
In more integrated or complex pathways, the team will inevitably expand in order to ensure that the outcomes envisaged will be achieved within the agreed timetable.
In any case, all advice is given under my supervision.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE CONTACT YOU TO ENSURE THAT WE START AT A TIME THAT IS MOST CONVENIENT FOR US?
The professionals in Mapping Change are often engaged on several fronts at the same time and their diaries fill up very easily.
Ideally, you should contact us as early as possible, especially if missions abroad are envisaged.
WHEN YOU TALK ABOUT CO-DESIGN AND STRATEGIC CO-DESIGN ON LARGE MULTI-STAKEHOLDER PROJECTS, EXACTLY WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY LARGE?
It is difficult to quantify this complexity exactly but we are certainly talking about multi-year programmes and projects, over several cities, regions or countries (or in a single geographical location but with particularly complex outcomes and activities), with more than 5 partners.
DO YOU JUST WORK IN ITALY OR DO YOU ALSO WORK ABROAD?
Mapping Change works with Italian organisations (or organisations that have their headquarters in Italy) as well as with the Italian offices of international organisations and with foreign organisations.
Whenever the consultation requires it, we conduct missions abroad.
I’VE SEEN THAT YOU ALSO DO SOCIAL REPORTS AND IMPACT ASSESSMENTS. DO YOU TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE GUIDELINES LAID DOWN BY THE RECENT FORM OF THE THIRD SECTOR?
Absolutely! The services we offer are always up to date with all current regulations.
Having said that, the work proposed by Mapping Change is not limited to ‘bringing you into compliance’ with the regulations, but it expressly aims to grow your organisation at all levels, using the need for compliance as an opportunity to boost capabilities and confidence in your people, to make processes more fluid, and to maximise positioning, institutional communication, impact generated and fundraising.
IF I SEND A REQUEST VIA YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION PAGE, HOW LONG UNTIL YOU SEND A RESPONSE?
DO YOU HAVE FIXED FEES?
Precisely because our pathways are all highly personalised, our fees are calculated on a case-by-case basis.
Fees are based on the number of goals, on the complexity of the individual goal in relation to your initial circumstances and, lastly, on how many and which consultants that pathway requires.
I’VE SEEN THAT YOU WORK WITH OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN OUR SECTOR. HOW DO YOU PROTECT THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF THE INFORMATION YOU WOULD OBTAIN WHILE WORKING WITH US?
Mapping Change is composed of professionals with more than 20 years of recognised and referenced experience, not least because of the confidentiality they have always guaranteed.
All of us have signed an extremely strict confidentiality agreement with Mapping Change and we undertake to maintain strict confidentiality in the contracts we sign with the organisations we work with.
I’M A CONSULTANT WITH OVER 10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. CAN I PROPOSE A COLLABORATION WITH MAPPING CHANGE?
Mapping Change is in continuous evolution and will certainly expand the services we offer in the future.
The selection of consultants to be part of the team is not based only on their CVs, but also having tested their seriousness and compatibility, including their personal compatibility, on at least one complex project.
After all, the Mapping Change team was created just like this: from experience and trust built together in the field.
The best way to find out if you can be part of Mapping Change is to help create an opportunity for collaboration.
